Icy Montana road leads to accident, injuries

Montana residents know all about winter driving. For most of us, experience has taught how a vehicle performs in different road conditions, and most of us know when to slow down and take it easy. But sometimes a car accident occurs that might have been prevented had a driver been more careful on an icy road. One such accident took place recently in Kalispell, and sent three people to the hospital with serious injuries.

Montana woman hit, killed by semi truck

The Montana Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate an accident in which a 23-year-old Busby, Montana woman was struck and killed by a vehicle as she walked along U.S. Highway 212 recently. The woman was walking with two men at the time of the accident, and they have said they believe she was struck by a semi truck. Unfortunately the vehicle that hit her did not stop, and officials say the chances of it ever being identified are slim.

Montana oil field worker sues for severe burns

The Bakken oil fields in eastern Montana and western North Dakota have meant a lot of high-paying jobs. But the work is dangerous, and oil field workers risk injury and death every day they are on the job. Recently a Montana man who suffered severe burns in an oil field accident recovered a multi-million dollar settlement for his injuries.
