Oil field work accident victim dies on drilling rig

Over the past few years quite a few Montana workers have found good-paying jobs in the oil fields. Unfortunately, the work is hazardous and some workers have paid for those jobs with their lives. Another such tragedy took place recently when a 32-year-old North Dakota man was killed at a drilling site near Killdeer.

Missoula County accident claims third victim

A tragic accident in Missoula County that had already claimed two lives claimed another this month, when the only surviving victim succumbed to her injuries and passed away. A 23-year-old woman and a nine-year-old girl had already died in the accident, which happened near Lolo, Montana in February.

The hazards were tragically brought to light once again recently in Texas, where a 43-year-old man was killed in an oil field accident.

Idaho man gets 40-year sentence for head-on collision

A fatal head-on-collision in southwestern Montana may raise significant issues of insurance coverage. The deadly car accident, which killed a Montana woman, happened just over a year ago near Garrison on Interstate 90. An Idaho man allegedly drove his SUV at high speed the wrong way on the Interstate, and collided head-on with a Dodge pickup driven by a Montana man. The wife of the Montana man, who was a passenger in the pickup, was killed in the crash.
